Dennis Taylor, Chief Executive of Lancashire Economic Partnership presents the Export Award to Dennis Mendoros |
Euravia’s Senior Management Team celebrates the award during the Lancashire Telegraph Business Awards evening | Over the last few years, Euravia has signed long-term deals with the Royal Air Force and other national air forces in France, Holland, Saudi Arabia, Chile, Kenya, Ecuador and other countries. It was these international links that impressed the judges who selected Euravia as the 2008 Export Company and for the use of new Technology. Euravia’s Managing Director, Dennis Mendoros, said: “We are on our way to doubling the size of the business in the next few years and we are confident of achieving that goal. Meeting our targets is the main ambition and making the business grow. This award is testament to our workforce who show commitment and work as one team and project the best image of the company in the process.” Euravia has established firm contracts across five continents. The company has a state-of-the-art factory in Kelbrook that has an engine testing facility which allows it to offer design, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services to international customers. The company also has prime contractor status which means it does not have to subcontract to other firms, allowing it to forge strong links with some of the world’s major air forces. |
