Lancastrian of the Year in recognition of Lifetime Achievement – BIBAS 2008 The BIBA's are now the county's premier business competition. Year on year a record number of entries have signified the BIBA's as "the one they want to win" with winners becoming proud recipients of a handcrafted limited edition trophy specially designed by world famous sculptor – Charles Hadcock. The Managing Director & Owner of Euravia Engineering, Dennis Mendoros OBE DL, received the Lancastrian of the Year (in recognition of Lifetime Achievement) at the prestigious ‘Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBA)’ 2008 ceremony. Over 750 of Lancashire’s brightest business stars gathered together for the 2008 BIBAs which recently took place at the world famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Hailed as the ‘Business Oscars’, the 2008 BIBAs was the most ambitious event of its kind and attracted an exceptional level of entries, over 700 in total, from some of Lancashire’s top performing companies. The award itself was made by Queen's Award Winning Sculptor Charles Hadcock
