A bored out version of the PT6A-20 with fine mesh reduction gears and diffuser pipes

The ever reliable Pratt and Whitney Canada PT6A-27 is the small variant of the lightweight, free turbine engine. Utilising the modular design; one for the compressor and the other for the propeller shaft. This PT6 engine is fuel efficient and cost effective for turboprop operators. It is found on the CATIC/HAIG of China Y-12, De Havilland Twin Otter, Embraer Bandeirante EMB-110, Let L-410, McKinnon Goose, Pilatus Turbo Porter PC-6, Raytheon Beech 99 Series and Viking Turbo Beaver aircraft.
